Clasp the clipper in your hand between the thumb and index finger and close your hand around it for the grip and maximum control. Hold the clipper with the flat side closest to the nail and the curved side furthest away.
Once aligned to intersect the nail, apply gentle pressure to the nail. To cut longer, stronger nails, repeat the process in small intervals, applying additional pressure if necessary. Be sure to cut nails straight across and cleanse your nail cutter after use.
